Can not even begin...

There is not enough space on this blog to update from by last post so I will give you a quick run down.  (thank goodness Ally does better than I do)

Coby is in St. Louis playing independent ball.  The last couple of times he pitched has gone well but he did have a pretty rocky start. The first couple of games he went in to relief he gave up homeruns.  I'm pretty sure he has settle down and back in the grove of things.

Coby is living in Hawaii for right now.  He moved there the middle of May with a couple of high school friends.  He was going to take a year off from school so Jim suggested that he live somewhere fun - so Hawaii is where he is.  He loves it!

Cam will be a senior next year.  He is playing 7 on 7 and on two baseball teams this summer.  He could easily have some kind of game everyday of the week!  We will travel to Oklahoma, Georgia, and Missouri for tournament - not the idea vacation but we have done this before.

Randi will be a sophomore which is so hard to believe!  No ball for her this summer because she hurt her shoulder playing volleyball after school.  She will go to church camp this week and has quite a full social calendar!

Baseball is here!

Baseball has arrived at the Mav house. It actually started three weeks ago with practice but now the game are coming on strong! We have two scrimmages today, one next week then a tournament starting on Thursday. It really is a fun time of year but we are wishing for warmer weather! I will post pictures once the "real" games begin.

Cory is playing JV ball at ACU. He tries to come home every other weekend - he still has a girlfriend here! (I can't say he comes home just to see the family!)

Coby has been living with us since mid-January. It was been great having him around! He has been working out with the baseball team when he can. Probably the best part of having him around is when we all sit down for supper! We tend to get too busy for this but Coby has made it a point to wait for Jim to get home before we all eat.

Cam has a new dog - Duece! He is so cute but kind of wimpy! ( I will post pictures of him later also!) The best part of Duece is that Snoop (Coby's dog) has a friend to play with! The worst part - all the POOP!!! It probably isn't the best time to get a puppy with baseball in full swing but it was too good to pass up.

Randi has just finished basketball and is in track. Apparently she is one of the top 15 sprinters. (That number makes me laugh!). We have a big party tonight that she is so excited about - a "15 year old celebration" - there is a spanish word for this but I can't spell it! We borrowed one of Ally's dresses for the "semi-formal" occasion - I will post pictures of that also!

Ok - now I need to go bundle up for the baseball game!

Love to all!

Mavs and Os Christmas Vacation

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The Mavs and the Os made a trip out to Reno to visit Coby then visited San Francisco for a few days! Seeing Coby for those few days reminded us how much we miss him!

We are quite the travelers! All the other people at the airports thought the Clampits had arrived! Once we were fully loaded in our 12 passanger van we thought the same. We had to take things out of the van before everyone could unload - pretty funny!

Our trip was full of activites! My was keeping sweet Ms. Camden! She traveled great and loved seeing her Uncle Coby. Coby does have to learn that baby spit really isn't that bad!

Jim and the kids skied 4 days wishing they could have gone 4 more ( the kids anyway - Jim was beat!)

Going to State

Cam the "playa"Cory the Coach

Cam is playing 7 on 7 this summer and Cory is the coach. This past Saturday was the 1st State-qualifying tournament that our school has competed in. We won 1st place, which put us in the State meet. As you can see the kids were very excited and proud!

After reading Coby and Nicole's Blog I thought maybe I would start updating information about the kids still at home - Cory, Cameron, and Randi.

Cory - 15 more days of high school. I still can't believe he is now 19 years old and will be going to college next year. He has decided to go to ACU and will try to walk on in football and baseball.

Cameron - He started spring football yesterday and not very excited about that. It is hard to switch gears so fast - baseball game on Monday - Football on Tuesday. He will start playing 7 on 7 tournaments pretty soon plus his summer league baseball.

Cory and Cam both have jobs this summer - starting May 31!

Randi - we had a sad few days with her. She didn't make cheerleader or mascot :( . She is doing fine now but did have a few tears on those days. Hopefully we can find her a volleyball league to play in this summer but she is also counting the days to BlueHaven (church camp).

Most of you that read this are keeping up the "Baby O" blog - we are so very thankful we get to see Jay and Ally every weekend if not more. I wish we could say the same about Coby and Nicole but the Blog will have to do for now!

Love, Cheryl
